Bangladesh men’s team swimmer Mahfizur Rahman, women’s swimmer Khadija Akter Brishty and team coach cum manager and Bangladesh Swimming Federation (BSF) executive member Nibedita Das, who will take part in the 18th Asian Games, had a courtesy call with the President of Bangladesh Swimming Federation and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Nizamuddin Ahmed at Bangladesh Navy Headquarters in the city’s Bonani on Monday.
BSF general secretary AB Saif, BSF joint secretary-2 Abdul Hamid and national swimming team’s Korean coach Tegun Park, among others, were present on the occasion.
The Bangladesh swimming team will leave for Indonesia on August 17 to take part in the 18th Asian Games scheduled to be held on August 18 to September 2 in Jakarta, Palembang.
