Different student bodies have condemned and protested the BCL’s Tuesday attack on Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) on the Dhaka University (DU) campus.
They also demanded restoration of co-existence among the students’ bodies on the campus saying that the attack is the sign of the failed DU administration.
Chhatra Odhikar Parishad, Bangladesh Chhatra Union, Bangla-desh Chhatra Federation and other student organisations issued a press release in this respect.
BCL carried out the attack in front of Nilkhet Police Outpost on JCD leaders with country made weapons which injured at least 15 students although JCD leaders were given permission to hold a courtesy meeting with the Vice-Chancellor and the proctor.
Different media telecast the attack and thereby hold a lot of video footage and photo in media house of its, but the DU administration failed to recognise the guilty yet.
Earlier, on Monday, JCD announced the programme schedule and then BCL announced a programme with Vice-Chancellor to hold the programme before one hour of holding JCD meeting.
