The inter house annual sports competition-2018 of RCCI Public School and College was held here on Sunday amid festive atmosphere and enthusiasm.
The authority of RCCI Public School and College run by Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) organised the event.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Wahiduzzaman attended the inaugural and prize distribution ceremonies as the chief guest with RCCI President and Chairman of the Governing Committee of the reputed educational institution Mostafa Sohrab Chowdhury Titu in the chair.
Former RCCI President and former Chairman of the Governing Committee of RCCI Public School and College Mosaddek Hossain Lablu attended the functions as special guest.
In the morning, the chief guest along with RCCI President and other guests formally launched the sports competition by hoisting national flag, releasing pigeons and balloons.
Later, the chief guest, along with other invited guests, distributed prizes among the winners of different sports events after the discussion meeting in the concluding prize giving ceremony.
