Popular actress of present time Sonia Hossain got the opportunity to work with evergreen hero Afzal Hossain for the first time in a special play titled Sedin-o Boshonto Esechhilo which has been made on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr by Chayanika Chowdhury. Faria Hossain wrote story of the play.
Afzal and Sonia acted in roles of Imran and Nila respectively. Around 12 years ago, Afzal hosted a show where he was introduced with Sonia Hossain. While working in the play both of them recalled the memories of their first time meeting.
While talking about his performance under Chayanika’s direction for first time Afzal Hossain told this correspondent, “This time I have to be engaged with different activities. Chayanika gave me schedule many days ago. So while working in this play I felt pressure. If I worked in relaxed mood I will surely enjoy to work. It is also delightful matter that I worked with Sweety after a long time. Juniors who are working now are doing well. As a director, Chayanika is very much serious. She works in organised way. I hope viewers will enjoy watching the play.”
While sharing her feelings to work with Afzal Hossain actress Sonia Hossain said, “Afzal Hossain is a top class actor. There is nothing new to say about him. I was really impressed for getting his cooperation to me while taking part in shooting of the play. During break time I got the scope to discuss with him which I really felt honoured. I am really delighted to work with Afzal Bhai in the play.”
It may be mentioned that shooting of the play began at Pubail in Gazipur on May 4 and finished yesterday at a restaurant in the city’s Gulshan area. It will be telecasted in any satellite channel in Eid-ul-Fitr. Siam Ahmed also acted in an important role in the play.
