A man was killed by his son at Bandalia village in Tarail upazila of Kishoreganj on Wednesday night over family feud. quarrel in Tarail of Kishoreganj.
The deceased was identified as Rabiul Islam (60), . a rickshaw puller by profession.
Police have arrested the killer’s son Sohag Mia (22). locals and Police sources , a quarrel broke out between Sohag Mia and her mother on Wednesday night. At that time, son Sohag Mia misbehaved with his mother. Father Rabiul Islam came and stopped his son . Then son became angry with his father and randomly stabbed him with a sharp knife inside the house and seriously injured.
Neighbors later beat Sohag. Rabiul Islam was rescued and taken to the emergency department of the 250-bed General Hospital in Kishoreganj, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Officer -in Charge ( OC) in Tarail Joynal Abedin Sarkar said that after receiving the news, the killer Sohag Mia was arrested.
The body was sent to mourge for autopsy.
