Solo musical evening of Nazrul Sangeet singer Sabira Sultana was held in the Shawkat Osman Auditorium of Public Library in the city on Wednesday.
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque attended the programme as the chief guest with Poet Samsunnhar Faruq in the chair. Poet and lyrist Koshnur and poet Sharif M Afzal, among others, also present at the programme.
Being attracted by the variety, novelty and mellifluous uniqueness, Sabira developed a very special passion for Nazrul Giti (Sangeet) from her early age.
Her first music album titled “Nil Paharer Meye” was released from Fahim Music in 2005. The second music album titled “Megher Deshe Veshe Veshe” was launched from Impress Audio Vision Limited this year. Both the music albums consist of 12 modern songs.
