Small traders losing capital by bkash fraudsters

The bkash fraudsters have become active In Bhangura Upazila of Pabna. Many are losing their capital due to their false temptation.
A CNG driver named Shahinur Rahman (30) of Bhangura Bus Stand lost Tk 22,000. He fell into the clutches of this fraudulent cycle on Monday. A few days ago, Abdul Alim, a small trader from Menda Bazar and Rafiqul Islam from Betuan village lost Tk.40,000 .
According to Shahinur, a person in the identity of bKash authorities informed on the phone that his bKash account has been closed. When asked what to do to keep the account running, he was immediately asked to cash in Tk 22,000 to his own development number. According to him, he deposited money in Shahinur’s bKash account. Then the fraudster receives a call from 111 and asks to cooperate. After a while, Shahinur got a call from 111 and cooperated with various information. Later, while checking the balance, no money was found in the account. At that time money was lost from Shahinur’s mobile. Shahinur later informed the police about the matter.
M.Faisal Bin Ahsan, Officer-in-Charge of Bhangura Police Station admitted the truth of the incident and said that the fraudsters were withdrawing the money through one or another bKash account. However, the bKash authority does not give any information to the police without a court order. So despite the goodwill of the police, the culprits cannot be identified.
