Vice Speaker of South Korea’s National Assembly Jeong Kab-yoon arrived here on a four-day visit on Saturday, aiming to cement bilateral relations. During his visit, he will meet Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, also the Chairperson of Common-wealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Executive Committee, an official told UNB.
During the meeting, they will discuss ways to improve legislative cooperation between the two countries, the official added. The South Korean Vice Speaker will also meet President Abdul Hamid during his four-day visit. However, the schedules of the meetings are yet to be known.
