Bangladesh Premier League champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club made winning start in the prestigious King’s Cup football tournament beating Druk United FC 3-0 in the opener at Changlimithang Stadium, Bhutan on Saturday.
Darboe Landing, Wedson Anselme and Rubel Miah scored one goal each in the 25th, 70th and 90th minutes respectively.
However, Bangladesh Premier League runners-up Abahani Limited will face Assam Electricity Ltd at 3pm on Sunday at the same venue.
