Freedom Fighter ZH Sikder, the Chairman of Sikder Group and National Bank, died in a hospital in Dubai of United Arab Emirates on Wednesday. He was 91.
The eminent social activist was suffering from old age complications.
He breathed his last at 12:30pm (local time).
He left behind his family members and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
In a condolence message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock and sorrow.
She prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
