Left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam left for St Lucia on Monday night to join the Bangladesh squad for the second Test match against the West Indies starting on 24 June.
Bangladesh left-arm quicker was carrying a right-hand fracture from the middle of Sri Lanka series which ruled him out from that series and also from the first Test against West Indies.
The 21-year-old has played 4 Tests for Bangladesh since making his debut in April 2021.
Bangladesh were without their prime pacer, Taskin Ahmed, already. Shoriful’s injury forced BCB to bring Mustafizur Rahman back in the Test side.
