Actor Tamannaah Bhatia, who awaits the release of Prabhudeva starrer Devi 2 and Khamoshi, is all set to begin work on a yet-untitled Tamil horror-comedy which will be directed by Rohin Venkatesan of Adhe Kangal fame. The project went on the floors over the weekend and Tamannaah is expected to join the team soon.
Tipped to be heroine-centric horror flick, the film, according to reports, won’t feature a love interest for Tamannaah. The cast also includes Yogi Babu, Muniskanth, Bugs and Manzoor Ali Khan among others.
The makers plan to wrap up the film in 42 days, without a break. After shooting in Chennai for ten days, the team will head to Karaikudi where they will shoot for 32 days.
Ghibran has been roped in to score music for the film while Dani Raymond, who shot Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, has been signed for the camera. The crew also includes editor Leo John Paul and art director Vinoth Rajkumar, who worked on Vikram Vedha.
Tamannaah, who has multiple projects in her kitty, is looking at a very busy year with multiple releases. Last seen playing a bank manager who turns blind in Seenu Ramaswamy’s Kanne Kalaimanne, her next big release is going to be most likely the Tamil remake of Queen, where she has reprised Kangana Ranaut’s role.
