Nurjahan Begum, mother of Moinul Islam Sabuj, staff reporter of Kaler Kantha, Barishal Bureau Office, died at Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital on Saturday early morning from cardiac arrest.
She left behind two sons and two daughters, relatives and huge well wishers.
She was buried at family graveyard at Didihar village of the Upazila after Namaz-e- Janaza on Banaripara Pilot High School ground following Johr prayer.
Barishal-2 MP Shahe Alam, Barishal Reporters Unity and Press Club expressed deep grief over her death.
