State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak said Sheikh Russel Digital Lab has been installed at 14 thousands educational institution in a bid to let the new generation grow up as skilled human resources.
“The government has been working to build the new generation as skilled manpower and thus Sheikh Russel Digital Lab has been installed at 14 thousands educational institution”, said Zunaid Ahmed.
The state minister said this recently while addressing a function as the chief guest on the occasion of establishing the foundation stone of Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center of at Kalai Upazila Parishad of Jaipurhat, reports BSS.
Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad also Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Abu Sayeed Al Mahmud presided over the program while Senior Secretary of ICT Division NM Ziaul Alam and Managing Director of Bangladesh Hi-tech Park Authority Bikarna Kumar Ghosh addressed as special guests.
Palak said 30,000 young entrepreneurs scattered in rural areas across the country are providing digital services to people. The government is working to have two entrepreneurs in each house, he added.
The country is moving forward with a rapid growth under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said, adding, “Information and technology education has been made compulsory from 6th to 12th classes to create skilled human resources in information technology.”
Managing Director of Bangladesh Diesel Plant Limited Brigadier General Syed Md Rafiqul Islam, Chairman of Zilla Parishad also District Awami League president Arifur Rahman Rocket, general secretary Zakir Hossain Mandal also addressed on the occasion.
