Shayan is a son of popular TV actress Tarin’s elder sister, Tuhin. He has been brought up watching aunt Tarin’s acting from his childhood. For this reason, he had keen interest about acting.
To see this, members of Tarin’s family were impressed. Tarin believes that everybody should encourage them specially younger who want to do by their own way. Only for Shayan’s interest his family didn’t disagree to work in media.
Shayan has acted in a TV play titled Mejho Shaheb-er Duidin with Afzal Hossain and Tarin.
This play has been made to telecast on Bangladesh Television. Baharuddin Khelon wrote story of the play which is produced by Fazle Azim Jewel.
Shooting of the play was done in the city’s Hatirjheel area on Tuesday. Shayan acted in role of Afzal-Tarin’s son in the play. By this play Shayan has acted with his aunt for second time in any play.
While talking about the play Afzal told this correspondent, “Basically how a phone revolves everybody’s life in different ways. It is not a typical story. For this reason, viewers will enjoy to watch the play, I believe.”
Tarin shared her feelings by this way, “Shayan was brought up under my control. For this, it was easier for me to handle him during acting in the play in role of my son. I was really impressed because he acted like a professional actor. I believe in future he will become a good performer because he is developing himself.”
Afzal also informed that the play will be aired on BTV on November 14 at 8:30pm.
It may be mentioned that under Noim Imtiaz Neyamul’s direction Afzal and Tarin last acted together in a play titled Sketch last year. Shayan performed for the first time in that play.
Though acting in single episode play Afzal is not regular in drama serials.
Now Tarin acting a serial titled Grandmaster, directed by Dipankar Dipon, is being aired on Channel 9 now.
On the other hnad, recently Afzal has made music video of theme song of Chittagong Vikings.
Recently Afzal has finished shooting of a TV commercial of Summit Group. Shetu and Munia performed as models in the TVC, he said.
