Ace allrounder Shakib Al Hasan returned home last morning after completing his commitment with Jamaica Tallawahs in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
The all-rounder will join the ongoing national team’s practice camp.
This was a successful campaign for Shakib, as he recorded his maiden CPL title with Jamaica this season by beating Guyana Amazon Warriors by 9 wickets in the final.
Shakib had an average performance compared to his caliber for Jamaica this season. He scored 160 runs with the bat with a single fifty and bagged twelve wickets, having played in 13 games. But still his presence and experience was vital behind Jamaica’s second title.
