All-rounder Andre Russell of West Indies will play for Dhaka in the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket. The BPL Cricket will start on January 21. The BPL Cricket will be held at the different venues across the country. The dashing all-rounder of West Indies played the key role to clinch the title of the BPL Cricket for Rajshahi Royals. He acted as the captain of Rajshahi Royals that time.
There was an uncertainty for Andre Russell that he may not compete in this years BPL Cricket. There was a rumour that he will play for Fortune Barishal. But later on he was not in the players’ draft of BPL. So, there was an uncertainty about his participation in BPL Cricket of this edition.
But the last news of Andre Russell is he will play in this year’s BPL Cricket. And his team is Dhaka. Though the name of the Dhaka team is yet to be finalized but it is almost confirm that he will play for Dhaka. Andre Russell is now one of the best all-rounder of the world T20 cricket. Russell will play for Dhaka with Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah Riyad.
A source confirmed on Friday that the management of Dhaka have finalized with Andre Russell to play for Dhaka in forthcoming BPL Cricket. Russell will play for Dhaka in most of the matches of BPL Cricket.
