Today is the birthday of country’s one of the legendary film actresses Shabnam. But in the stage of her age, she doesn’t show keen interest to celebrate her birthday specially before birth of her grand-daughter Arnaz. Arnaz and her birthday are on August 17. But Arnaz requests her to celebrate their birthdays together. Arnaz is daughter of Shabnam’s husband Robin Ghosh’s younger sister’s daughter. While talking in this regard Shabnam said, “Basically in this stage, it is a difficult task for me to celebrate my birthday. I pass the day with husband and only son Roni. But my granddaughter requests me to celebrate the day to cut a cake together. It is really a nice moment for me in my life.” It may be mentioned that Shabnam last acted in Kazi Hayat’s movie Aammajaan in 1998. She got Nigar Award in 1962 to act in a side role in movie Chanda. But as an actress, she got this award again for Mustafiz’s directed movie Talash in 1963. -Entertainment Report
