Seven killed in road crashes

At least seven more persons were killed and several others injured in separate road crashes across the country on Saturday.
In Chittagong, two persons died in separate road crashes on Sunday.
At Rawganj, a motorcyclist named Mansur, 42, was killed when a truck struck his bike at Dhalarmukh in Rawganj upazila of the district.
The accident took place on Sunday noon. Mansur was the son of Hasi Mia, a resident of Adharamanik of the upazila.
At Karnafuli, a CNG auto-rickshaw driver named Shahadat Hossain (32) was killed in a road accident at Baro Uthan Union in Karnafuli Upazila of the district.
The incident took place at Fakirnirhat around 6am on Sunday.
 The deceased Shahadat Hossain (32) was the son of Abdur Rahim from Badarpur village at Marine Academy area.

(DMCH) police outpost, confirmed the news. In Feni, two persons were killed and 15 others injured when a bus overturned in Sadar upazila of Feni district on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Amin, 55, from Fulgazi upazila, and Siddiqur Rahman from Sadar upazila.
The accident occurred when a Khagrachhari-bound bus hit hard a road divider at Chhanua when the driver lost his control over steering, killing two passengers dead on the spot, said Muhuriganj highway police SI Mahbubur Rahman.
In Gaibandha, a motorcyclist named Abdul Hamid Mandal, 45, was killed in a road accident when a bus rammed him in Gobindaganj upazila of Gaibandha.
The accident occurred around 10am near the Upazila Health Complex (Hospital Intersection).
The deceased was identified as Abdul Hamid, son of Heberat Ali from Chok Manikpur village under Gobindaganj’s Kamdia Union.
Gobindaganj Fire Service and Civil Defense Station Officer (Acting) Md. Abdul Hamid said it to media.
In Bogura, a bus helper was killed after a SI Paribahan bus ran over him in Shajahanpur upazila of the district on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahman Miah, 25, son of Abdul Ohab Miah, hailing from Nilnagar area under Dinajpur Sadar upazila.
A collision between a Rupa Parhibahan bus and a SI Paribahan bus seriously injured Abdur Rahman at Rahimad on the Dhaka-Bagura highway at 10:30 am, Zia Latiful Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shajahanpur Police Station told media.
Later, he was declared dead at Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College, OC said.
The killer SI Paribahan bus driver and helper fled the spot immediately, OC added.
In Goplganj, a man named Limon Munshi, 24, was killed in a road accident in Tungipara upazila of Goplganj on Sunday.
 He was an employee of Rupali Bank’s Tungipara branch.
Enamul Kabir, Officer-in-Charge of Tungipara Police Station told the news media.
