Tanvir Hawladar (11), a student of Class-IV of Rajapur Govt. Primary School and son of one Altap Hawladar of the same village under Sharankhola Upazila in the district met his tragic end when his sister hit him with a pair of scissors on Tuesday night,
Abu Salek, Officer-in-charge of Sharankhola PS said , at the night while deceased Tanvir and his sister Tanni were taking their launch their mother gave two eggs to Tanvir and one to Tanni. As a result, a quarrel took place between the brother and the sister over the disparity and very soon it turned into a scuffle and at one stage sister Tanni took a pair of scissors (an instrument to cut cloth) from her side and threw it on Tanvir. But unfortunate it pierced into his belly. As a result, he sustained grievous injuries. He was rushed to Sharankhola Upazila Health Complex for treatment. But considering the gravity of the injuries he was referred to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital for better treatment. But on his way to Bagerhat Hospital he succumbed to his injuries at the same night.
Police recovered the dead body and sent it to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
