15 including 4 Chinese are on self-isolation in Barishal

Fifteen including four Chinese workers and 11 home returned Bangladeshi expatriates went under home quarantine in three districts of Barishal Division as cautionary step to prevent coronavirus.
Dr. Basudev Kumar Das, Divisional Director of Health Directorate, acknowledging the facts said that among the self quarantined 15 persons four Chinese were working at Payra Thermal Electricity Generation Plant under Kalapara upazila of Patuakhali district.
Among other 11 self-quarantined persons, seven were from Barishal and four from Jhalakathi district.
They were quarantined as they returned from abroad within last 12 days. Among them, four of Gournadi returned from Italy, 2 of
Hizla returned from Singapore and Saudi Arabia, and 1 of Bakerganj returned from Malaysia went under self-quarantined and observation in Barishal district.
Besides 2 of Rajapur returned from KSA, 1 returned from Netherland and 1 returned from Singapore under Jhalakathi district are also self-isolating at the home.
Four Chinese workers of Payra Thermal Electricity Generation Plant under Kalapara upazila of Patuakhali district recently returned to working place from home country also self-quarantined in a separate place of the plant.
Although none of the self-quarantined persons yet detected as infected by coronavirus, but they were quarantined in separate rooms of their home and under regular supervision of local health officials.
Meeting and movement of them with other people including family members also became limited and restricted, divisional health director added.
