Viewers’ choice popular actress and model Sarika was present in a special magazine in last Eid. By that magazine she was present in any TV show after a break of three years.
After airing her attended an episode of Style Check everybody was thinking about her. Sarika also got proposals from play directors. But she didn’t agree to work during that time. At that time, she informed that she may appear in the special telefilms and plays during this Eid-ul-Azha.
This popular model-actress, who once said goodbye to showbiz after her marriage in 2012, had expressed her desire to return to acting on many occasions. Finally, Sarika, however, kept her word as she has this time returned to her very own world and has already started working for a tele-drama on the occasion of the upcoming Eid.
Muhammad Mostafa Kamal Raj began the shooting of a new play titled Ami Tumi last Saturday, through which Sarika was making her comeback to the small screen again. The play is scripted and directed by director Mostafa Kamal Raj himself.
While sharing her feelings in this regard Sarika told this correspondent, “I got married, started a family and also became a mother. I was quite busy with all these things since last couple of years. Meanwhile, many of my well-wishers suggested me to return to acting. But everything did not match appropriately; so that, it could not be possible to return to acting. But this is true that acting all the time remained in my heart!”
“Acting is the source of my inspiration for being alive, and I always wished to return to acting one day. With everyone’s prayer and inspiration, I have returned to acting. I hope my fans and viewers will be happy,” she added.
Sarika informed that the play Ami Tumi will be aired on Asian TV during Eid-ul-Azha. Newcomer Jovan was co-actor of Sarika in the play. Besides them, Babor, Shahid-un-Nabi, among others, also acted in different roles in the play.
