On the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Azha, the Bus Owners Association has decided to sell the advance bus tickets for the long distance Eid passengers from today.
The association leaders took the decision in a meeting on Monday.
The sale was supposed to start from Sunday, but the association postponed the sale because of undeclared bus strike in the wake of student agitation for safe roads.
Faruque Talukder, President of
Bangladesh Bus Truck Owners Association (BBTOA) confirmed the news to media.
Advance bus ticket sale will begin Today,” he said.
Mosharraf Hossain, General Manager of Hanif Paribahan said that they would sell tickets in advance from 6:00am today.
Association’s Vice President and Shyamali Paribahan Managing Director Romesh Chandra Ghosh assured that the sale would continue from 16 August to 21 August.
The date of the sale of return tickets will be informed later.
