Now Salauddin Lavlu is seen to give direction most of the time rather than acting. But he is regular in acting in Eid works. In last Eid, he acted in two plays and two serials. His acting was appreciated in two serials – My Name Is Bed on ATN Bangla and Monsur Mala on Banglavision. He has already announced to make a new serial. Kazi Shahedul Islam has started to write story of the serial. After making the serial will be aired as usual on Channel i. But Lavlu informed that he yet not finalized title of the serial.
While talking about his new serial Lavlu told this correspondent, “Already my directed serial Sonar Pakhi Rupar Pakhi has been finished its telecasting on Channel i after getting popularity among the viewers. Kaze Shahedul Islam has started to write story of my new serial. Story of the serial will revolve with story of a mafussil area. Within short time its shooting will start.
