A budget of over Tk 80 . 34 cr 703 for the year 2017-2018 has been announced by the Mayor of Saidpur Municipality recently.
The budget declaration program was held at the conference room of Saidpur Municipality. Mayor Md Amzad Hossain Sarker declared the budget in presence of the invited journalists of print and electronic media, councilors and others.
Mayor declared that in this new budget neither the tax has been increased nor the new tax has been imposed upon the people. He just wants to regularize the same tax to fulfill the budget. He is also committed to establish a children amusement park in the Municipal area within his duration period. Keeping every objectivism and realism in mind this budget has been prepared. Not only that, before announcing the huge amount of budget, Mayor Md. AmzadHossainSarker has taken the decision of the people of every profession and class including the students as the part of Pre-budget discussion.
Secretary of Saidpur Municipality Ashish Kumar Sarkar, inaugurated the programme by delivering his welcome speech.
