Noted film actress Sarah Begum Kobori Sarwar and noted singer Sabina Yasmin will be seen in Kobori’s government-grant movie titled Ei Tumi Sei Tumi. Kobori will be writing lyrics of play-back song of the movie. She will also be directing and starring in the movie. However, Sabina Yasmin will work as the music director in Ei Tumi Sei Tumi.
The film has a play-back song titled Tumi sotti kore bolo written by veteran actress Kobori. Imran Mahmudul and Somnur Monir Konal are set to give their voices to the song.
This will be the first time Kobori will play the role of a lyricist in the movie. While talking in this regard the veteran actress shared her feelings by this way, “I really wish I could voice my own song but as long as the audience would love the song then that’s all that counts.”
It is mentioned that Sabina Yasmin and Kobori who have been friends for more than a decade have worked in numerous projects together. Kobori acted in innumerable songs voiced by Sabina Yasmin on the silver screen. This time as a token of their friendship, Sabina Yasmin decided to take on the responsibility of being a music composer for her close friend Kobori’s movie.
Sabina Yasmin was also delighted about being a music director for the first time. While sharing her feelings in this regard the singer said, “I can’t express my happiness right now. I am composing four songs for the movie on the request of my dearest friend.”
Shooting of the government-grant movie Ei Tumi Sei Tumi has already started. Kobori will be acting along noted actor Mohammad Bari who will act in role of her husband in the movie. Riyadh Raihan and Nishat Nawar Salwa will be acting as the present day’s pair in the movie, Kobori also said.
