South Korean company Campha Outdoor Limited will invest US$ 7.38 million to establish a camping items plant in 6375 square meter Standard Factory Building of Karnaphuli EPZ.
Fully foreign owned Campha Outdoor company will produce annually 2 million pcs of Tent, Sleeping Bag, Camping Chair and all kinds of Bag. 1100 Bangladeshi nationals will get employment opportunity in this company.
An agreement to this effect has signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and Campha Outdoor Ltd. in Dhaka on Thursday at BEPZA Complex. Sayed Nurul Islam, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Mr. Kim Beom Joon, Managing Director of Campha Outdoor Ltd. signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Major General Mohd. Habibur Rahman Khan, ndc, psc, Executive Chairman, Mr. Khandakar Aktaruzzaman, Member (Engineering), AKM Mahbubur Rahman Member (Finance), Mr. Md. Shawkat Nabi, Secretary, Mrs. Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public Relations) and Mr. Md. Nurul Haque, General Manager (Enterprise Services) of BEPZA were present at the signing ceremony.
