A fifteen-member executive body of Rajshahi University Journalist Association (RUJA) has been formed with Suzon Ali of New Age and UNB as President and Saiful Islam of NTV online and Barta24 as General Secretary respectively for the year of 2019-20.
Addressing the annual meeting of RUJA held its office on Saturday evening, its outgoing former adviser Hasan Adib declared the new committee.
The other nominated members of the committee are- vice presidents Moin Uddin of Banglanews24 and Shisir Mahmud of Protidiner Sangbad, joint-secretary Redwanul Hauqe Bijoy of Kaler Kantha, organising secretary Gausul Azam Milton of daily Amader Somoy, office secretary Raj Kiron Das of The New Nation, treasurer Shahin Alam of lastnewsbd.com, publicity and publication affairs secretary Nuruzzaman Khan of Ekushey TV online and Odhikar, literary and cultural affairs secretary Mehedi Hasan of dailysonardesh, information and technology affairs secretary Tapos Kumar Sarkar of bdjournal365, programme and planning affairs secretary Nur Alam of daily sunshine, sports affairs secretary Sazzad Hossain of dainik somachar. Besides, the two selected members are Subroto Gain of Channel i online and Toushif Kaium of bartabazar.
