A discussion meeting was held marking the founding anniversary of the environmen friendly organization Sabuj Andolan , Feni District Branch at the weekly Swadesh Patra Auditorium of the city on Friday . Advocate Md. Nurul Islam, President of Feni District Lawyers Association, was present as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Feni District Branch Convenor M. Mokchudur Rahman Miazi. Dr. Muhammad Mahtab Hossain Majed, health affairs secretary of the Central Executive Council, spoke as the main speaker.
The chief guest said in his speech that Bangladesh is called the country of riverine and greening. The current picture is completely different. Most of the canals have become vacant, the use of plastic products has increased to such an extent that it is very harmful to human health.

Welcome speech were given by Joint Convener Alamgir Hossain, Member Secretary Vibhishan Debnath, Joint Convener Nashir Uddin, Joint Convener Hafez Yunus, Member Muhammad Rafiqul Islam Bhuya, Member Shanta Rani Das, Member Raihanur Rahman and others.
At the end, cake cutting and Doa Mahfil were held on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the Green Movement.
