UNB, Laxmipur :
A suspected robber sustained bullet injuries in a reported gunfight with police in Binodpur area of Sadar upazila early Friday.
Tipped off that a gang of robber preparing for committing robbery, a team of police conducted a drive in the area, said A S M Mahatab Uddin, superintendent of Laxmipur Police.
When the team reached the spot the robbers opened fire on police, triggering the gunfight which left the robber Belgium Sumon injured with bullet.
Later, police arrested another suspected robber Kamrul Hasan Rubel and CNG auto-rickshaw driver Selim.
