A father and his eleven years old daughter were killed and two others of his family members injured as a bus hit a motorcycle in Bypass area in the town yesterday.
The victims were identified as Ful Mia, 42, a resident at Rampur village of Sadar Upazila and his daughter Murshida. Ful Mia’s wife Ferdous Ara Begum and his three years old son Tamim were also injured in the accident.
Family sources said the accident occurred in this evening when Ful Mia was going to his father-in-law’s house along with his wife, son and daughter riding the motorcycle. Murshida died on the spot while Ful Mia died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Ferdous Ara was admitted to Natore Sadar Hospiatl while Tamim has been referred to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
Officer-in-Charge of Natore Sadar Thana Sikder Moshiur Rahman said they seized the bus.
