Two people were killed including a school girl and another injured in Kadomtola Khajura area in Sador upazila of Jashore district on yesterday(Sunday) night.
The deceased were identified as Salam Hossain 20 son of Aslam Hossain, Maliha Akter 14 daughter of Salim mia, of NewTown and the student of class nine in Jashore new town girls school and injured was Taiyaba Khatun 15 of the same school of the town.
Police and witnesses said the Magura -bound truck smashed their bike of Salam Hossain about 7:15pm, leaving their dead on the spot. injured was Taiyaba Khatun admitted to Jashore general hospital .
Rafiqul Islam, in charge Khajura police out post said, that on information, police recovered the bodies and sent it to Jashore general hospital morgue for autopsy. Driver and helper flee from the scene , But police detain the truck.
