Retired school teacher killed by dacoits in Nalcity

A retired primary school teacher killed and his son severely injured by dacoits at Chingrakhali village under Nalcity of Jhalakati district on Tuesday.
 The victim was identified as Rustam Ali Haoladar, retired teacher of local Kumarkhali government primary school and the severely injured victim was his son Golam Mustafa Haoladar, 35, a saw-mill owner. Police and Ruhul Amin Haoladar , one of the son of Rustam Haoladar, said a gang of 8/10 dacoits breaking window of the house entered inside and making residents hostages and beating them started looting valuables on early Tuesday.
 At that time retired school teacher Rustam Ali, his son Golam Mustafa, Mahfuza Begum, wife of Mustafa, Shahida Begum, wife of Ruhul Amin, injured by beating with iron-rod and chopping of the dacoit gang.The dacoits breaking steel almirah looting ornaments, valuables and cash worth Tk 2 lakhs left the house safely at about 2:30 am.

The severely injured father and son were rushed to Barisal Sher E Bangla Medical College Hospital at about 4:00 am by the neighbours.There father Rustam Ali succumbed to injuries at about 10:00 am and son Golam Mustafa still admitted at hospital.
Abul Khayer, Nalcity police station in charge, said dead body of school teacher Rustam Ali sent to SBMCH morgue for autopsy and preparation for lodging a murder case going on till this report. Mohidul Islam, additional police superintendent Jhalakathi district, said he visited the spot and ordered local police to investigate the incident whether it was a crime of dacoity or intentional murder in rivalry over disputed land properties.
