University Grants Commission Chairman Prof Abdul Mannan has urged the researchers to innovate something useful for the society and nation.
“Collaborative research between universities and industries is almost zero in Bangladesh. Linkage between academicians and industries needs to be expedited and accelerated for the country’s development and success,” he said.
The UGC chief was speaking as the chief guest at a training workshop on AIF sub-project proposal writing (round-2, w-4, w-3, TTO) at the UGC Auditorium on Tuesday, said in a press release.
Prof Mannan also observed that universities’ working with industry is a win-win situation for both the higher educational institutions and industries as well as for the country.
