As the renovation work of Bogra-Naogaon highway has not been completed for 4 long years, pedestrians including vehicles are suffering immensely. This is destroying the parts of many vehicles.
Due to the road full of ditches, various accidents are constantly happening. The locals have sought the vision of the higher authorities to complete the repair work of this highway on an urgent basis.
It is learned that the present government is trying its best to widen the roads and highways of the country in order to build a golden Bengal to realize the dream of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Bangabandhu.
Following this, the renovation work of Bogra-Naogaon highway started at the end of 2017. Although the renovation work started from then, the road contractor Navana Company Ltd. could not complete the work even after 4 long years.
Although some parts of the road have been repaired, the 5 km road from East Dhaka Road to West Dhaka Road in front of Adamdighi Upazila Gate, near West Bazar Bridge of Adamdighi has not been repaired. Pedestrians are suffering due to small and big potholes in different parts of the road.
