Registration for Hult Prize competition begins in SUST

Registration for the third time Halt Prize Campus Round has started at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). The registration has started from Saturday (March 5) and will continue till Wednesday( March 9).
Halt Prize SUST’s press and media co-ordinator Md. Aminul Haque Lashkar said that the main goal of the Hult Prize is to bring the youth forward to solve various problems of the world in recent times and to create a group of thoughtful youth. Due to the increase in unemployment during corona pandemic through this year’s competition, this competition has been organized with the aim of increasing employment.
He said that the theme of this year’s competition is ‘How to reduce unemployment and increase employment.’ Contestants will present their ideas through poster presentation.
He said this year’s competition will be held in three events. In the first event, the registered team members will submit their ideas online and offline. Each team will have three to four members. Later, the online semi-final will be held on March 12 with 15 teams selected from them. Participants will have the opportunity to present their ideas through presentation.
The last final round will be held on March 15 in accordance with the hygiene rules on campus. 5 teams selected from the semi-final round will participate in it. A team from the final will be declared the on-campus champion. Details can also be found on their Facebook page ‘Hult Prize at SUST.’
