Red alert was issued at Benapole land port to check Ebola virus since Tuesday morning, said Moniruzzaman, officer in-charge, Benapole immigration police.
Moniruzzaman, officer in-charge, Benapole immigration police told that passport holders heading to Bangladesh, especially citizens of African countries were subjected to be medical checkup at the land port as red alert was issued here to check Ebola virus. ‘A four-member medical team was deployed at the check post in this connection’, added.
Dr Hasnat Anwar, head of the medical team told that the team has already starting checking of passport holders at the land port. ‘No Ebola virus positive person was found so far’, he added.
