Proper use of traffic signals
Accident is a small word, but its horror is much more. One accident takes away thousands of lives, dreams of survival. Many priceless lives, thousands of possibilities are destroyed after the accident. To save the people from such accidents, the government had installed traffic signals on various busy roads. Traffic lights at road junctions. Seeing the red light on, the cars stopped. Waiting to see the yellow light. Al sees the burning green light and moves freely. But those lights are useless today. Not being used on any signal. Despite the fact that there are traffic signals in different parts of the country, including the capital, it is not being used properly. Traffic signals are controlled by the police without the use of lights to reduce traffic congestion. Various drivers said that the police did not perform their duties properly and sat and talked, which made the traffic jam longer and longer. There is no doubt that the traffic situation in Dhaka city is deteriorating day by day and the traffic system will deteriorate further. Meanwhile, being stuck in traffic for hours on end is creating stress among the passengers, which is acting as a source of other diseases.
In this situation, in order to get out of the harmful effects of traffic jams, it is necessary to build a modern and timely traffic signal system as well as increase the manpower of the traffic department.
