Language of the Holy Quran :
A friend of me was asking me, are there verses in the Holy Quran in a row testifying the revelation in plain Arabic language to the Prophet Muhammad (SM)? I replied in the negative. There are five verses in a row in Surah Ash-Shuara. The texts thereof are:
191: And surely thy Lord is mighty, the Merciful.
192: And surely this (Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
193: The Faithful Spirit (Jibreel) has descended with it,
194: Upon thy (O Muhammad) heart that thee may be of the warners,
195: In plain Arabic language.
Allah has made the reading of the Quran compulsory. The related verses are 17/78, 18/27, 29/45, 35/29 and 73/4. The text of the Verse No. 73/4 is: Or add to it, and recite the Qur’an as it should be recited.
