Asia dominates T20 Cricket
The ICC T20 World Cup sees the Asian nations flourish in the about to end competition with India and Sri Lanka in the final to be played today in Dhaka. I have watched the performance of all the participating teams since the beginning of the championship and got enough pleasure because of thrill, uncertainty, charm, amazement and emotion. No other version of cricket possesses these characteristics.
T20 cricket can be compared with Aurora borealis and Aurora australis because the mystery of polar lights is still unknown to science. Similarly the character of T20 cricket is unknown to the cricket fans as the course changes several times in a single match.
That is why there is no scarcity of spectators in the stadiums all over the world, nor there is crunch of revenues. The Indian Cricket Board has become billionaire riding on the Indian Premier League, an annual event, participated by most of the leading cricketers of the world
Regarding the suitability of the captains of the participating nations, M.S.Dhoni is the best. His coolness during the proceedings of the match, even when India lose, is praiseworthy. He never loses heart and has strong arms. His teammates have confidence in him and that is why they play their best.
As regards the possible champions, India and Sri Lanka are equally strong. The team that will make lesser mistakes will be eventual champions. And of Pakistan, there is no future.
