With participation of domestic music bands, a band festival titled ‘Band Fest 2015’ will be held on Channel i premises on December 1.
Styled ‘Perky Biscuit-Channel i Band Fest 2015 – Powered by Symphony,’ Channel i and Perky Biscuit are jointly arranging the daylong festival. 13 band groups will perform in the festival. The festival will start from 11:05am, which will be telecast live on Channel i. It will continue till 5:00pm on that day.
Produces by Anonna Ruma Apu Mahfuz will host the Band Fest 2015. Band groups – Uchcharon, Obscure, Prometheus, Ark, Black, Bappa And Friends, Tirondaj, Bangladesh, The Brotherhood Project, Pipilika, Metrical, LRB, and Joler Gaan will take part in the festival.
To brief the media on the festival, the organisers held a press conference at Channel i office on Sunday.
Head of News of Channel i Sykh Seraj, Nat’l Sales Manager of Quantum Corporation Ltd Zakirul Alam, Deputy Director (Corporate Affairs) of Edison Group Maj (Retd) Abdul Malek Miyazi, founder of Bangladesh band Omar Khaled Rumi, Bappa Mazumder, Kanak Aditya, Biplob, Hasan, Toni, among others, were present at the conference.
