It is a pity that the our television channels are shy to screen Bangladeshi movies, while the cable operators have, perhaps, forgotten that Bangladeshi film directors and producers can make superiority art firms such as Mukh O Mukhosh, Jago Hua Sabera, Kancher Dewal, Kakhono Aseni, Dharapat, Jiban Theke Neya, Nadi O Nari, Aakash O Mati, Matir Pahar, Surya Anan, Abirbhav, Siraj Uddowlah, Ora Egarojan, Surya Dighal Bari, Golapi Ekhon Trene, Janmo Theke Jwalshi, Aguner Parash Moni, Shyamol Chhaya and The Rain. There are lessons in the stories of these movies for people of the world.
So to save our film industry, we demand the intervention of the ministry of information.

New Russian soldiers
Russian President has agreed to a proposal of recruiting soldiers from former Soviet Republics like Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. All these countries except the last named are overwhelmingly Muslim dominated. There are some more former republics and autonomous regions targeted by President Putin.
We are unable to understand what does the Russian President target by this? Does he want revival of the once fearsome Red Army and Mini-Soviet Union under a different ideology? Will the USA keep its eyes shut to the recent changes in Moscow or will plan new strategy? Who knows the end?
