Olympic Champions Brazil lead World Champions Germany in the International Football race, including the World Cup Football-the greatest show on earth.
There have been played so far 23 matches between the two sides, Brazil winning 13 and Germany five only. The other five ended in a draw. They met each other twice in the World Cup, Brazil triumphing in 2002 and Germany in 2014. The team from South America won the World titles in four continents, while the team from Germany annexed the world title in two continents only.
Not only that Brazil have the unique record of securing Confederation Cup in Asia, Africa, Europe and South America, while Germany won once only. Besides, Brazil captured their first world title from Europe, beating hosts Sweden 5-2 in the final. Finally Brazil beat Germany in Berlin last week to boost the chance of winning their sixth world title from Russia.
