A good coach indeed
There is no doubt that French super star Zinedine Yazid Zidane is also a good football coach. Zinedine Yazid Zidane, an Algerian by birth, is currently the Manager of Real Madrid, taking over the position in January 2016. In his first two seasons as manager, Zidane won the UEFA Champions League title twice, a La Liga title, a Supercopa de España title, the UEFA Super Cup twice and a FIFA Club World Cup.
He has all the qualities of a coach and that is why his team outclassed Barcelona 2-0 in the 2nd leg of Supercopa de España sans four regular players and suspended Ronaldo. He has taught his players that team’s victory should not depend upon a single player. And he has succeeded. In 1962, Brazil won the World Cup Football sans injured Pele, who played Brazil’s opening match only. May be that Brazil had galaxy of stars including extraordinary Garrincha. I think that Zidane has taken lessons from Brazil’s 1962 World Cup Victory.
