The Bangladesh Third Class Government Employees Association arranged a ‘Zoom Virtual’ meeting at its office in Dhaka for demanding 40 percentage allowance to the forthcoming national payscale.
The leaders of the association said that the necessary products like gas, electricity, water, medicine increased 75% in the last five years since 2015 but no increment have yet added to our salary scale.
Although the total salary has been increased by 25% at the rate of 5% per annum in the last 5 (five) years, the remaining deficit is 40% interim costly allowance.
At the beginning of the meeting, the discussions and prayers were held on the occasion of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The 3rd class employees association expressed their firm to be part of the developed country by 2041 following the directive of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
