The Cultural Club of Southeast University (SEU) organized a discussion and cultural program on Rabindra-Nazrul Janma Joyanti -2014 at its seminar hall on Monday. Prof Dr Anwar Hossain, Vice Chancellor of the university was the chief guest.
Prof Dr Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury, Pro Vice Chancellor was also present as the special guest.
Eminent poet and Rabindra-Nazrul researcher Md. Nurul Huda was present as the keynote speaker. Prof Dr Golam Ahmed Faruqui, Dean, School of Business Studies, Prof Dr Md. Abdul Hakim, Dean (Acting), School of Arts & Social Sciences delivered their valuable speech in the discussion program.
Prof Syed Fakhrul Hassan, Dean (Acting), School of Science & Engineering presided over the ceremony. Brig Gen Md. Anwarul Islam, ndc,psc,G+(Retd), Registrar of SEU, Wing Commander (Retd.) Syed Ahmed Kabir, fawc, psc, Chief Coordinator, Southeast University Trust, chairmen and teachers of different departments attended the program. Dr Neelima Afrin Janu, Chairperson, Department of Bengali Language and Literature gave a brief introduction about Rabindra-Nazrul Joyanti in her welcome speech.
