News Desk :
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Thursday rejected allegation of the force’s involvement in BNP leader Ilias Ali’s disappearance as untrue.
“The way the information was presented there (on Netra News site) is totally inaccurate. Rather, we want to say that we have extended highest legal assistance to his wife since Ilias Ali went missing,” Khandaker Al Moin, Rab’s legal and media wing director, told a press conference on Thursday.
Ilias, then organising secretary of Sylhet division unit of BNP, and his driver Ansar went missing from Dhaka’s Banani area on the night of April 17, 2012.
Since then, their families have been anxiously waiting for their return.
