Queensland University to promote research studies with Bangladeshi universities

Queensland University of Technoloty, Australia is keen to establish research and academic collaboration with the Bangladeshi universities for internationalization of higher education.
The observation was made while Professor Dr Sheel Nuna, Director South Asia, Queensland University of Technoloty, Australia called on UGC Chairman (State Minister) Prof Dr AK Azad Chowdhury at the latter’s office on Sunday.
Various aspects of higher education including joint Ph.D programme, tuition fees, research fund also came up for the discussion.
Terming the proposal as positive one, UGC Chairman said that UGC always believes in internationalization of higher education and we always look forward to broadening the arena of tertiary level education. He assured Professor Sheel Nuna of extending an all out cooperation on behalf of the UGC in this regard.
UGC Members Prof Dr Atful Hye Shibly, Prof Dr M Muhibur Rahman, Prof Dr Mohammad Mohabbat Khan, Prof Dr Abul Hashem, Prof Dr Akhter Hossain, UGC Secretary Dr Md Khaled and Research Support and Publication Division Director Dr Md Lutfe Alam were present in the meeting.
