Elder son of late popular singer and music composer Khalid Hasan Milu, Protik Hasan first gave his vocal for a duet play-back song with noted singer Shakila Jafar in a film titled Tokai-er Haatey Astro Keno? Later, Protik gave his vocal with many singers like Kanak Chanpa, Naznin Mimi, Porshi, Nancy, Puja, among others in other films.
This time Protik contributed his vocal with Sherakontho singer Luipa in a playback song. They play-backed under Ali Akram Shuvo’s music direction in Saimon Tariq’s directed a film titled Crime Road. Lyrics of the song were written by Sudip Kumar Dip. Title of the song is: Na re na re monta ki parey, tokey chhara lagey lonely. Recording of the song was done at a studio in the city’s Mogbazar area recently. While talking about the song Protik Hasan told this correspondent, “Lyrics of the song is really nice. For the first time I worked with Luipa in a play-back song. Her vocal is very soft and melodious. It became a nice work. I think listeners will enjoy the song.”
Luipa shared her feelings by this way, “For the first time I sang under Shuvo Bhai’s direction. It also happened with Protik Bhai. Both of them have cooperated me in this regard. I hope everybody will like the song.”
In 2012, Protik first featured any album titled Anubhobey.
On the occasion of ICC World Cup Cricket 2015 Protik rendered the song titled Cholo Bangladesh under his younger brother Pritom’s direction.
