The teachers and students of Barishal University (BU) continued their demonstrations on the campus demanding removal of the vice-chancellor.
VC SM Imamul Huq reportedly called some of his students ‘descendants of Razakars’ on March 26,
triggering the protest. Two days later, the authorities shut down the university for an indefinite period and asked students to vacate the residential halls. But the students ignored the order and continued their protests.
